Matthew Jewart
Matthew Jewart grew up on his family’s 200 cow dairy farm in western Pennsylvania, where his interest in dairy nutrition started as soon as he could hold a feed scoop. After high school, Matt decided to pursue an education at Penn State University to prepare himself for a career as a dairy nutritionist.
Struggling with the concept of “ton based” selling for the large feed companies, he took a feed manage position at Mason Dixon Farms in order to acquire real world experience from the farm perspective. Eventually his interest in balancing feed rations got the best of him, so he took a nutritionist position with ADM Alliance Nutrition, and then later with Cumberland Valley Cooperative. WIth more than 13 years of experience building relations with dairy producers and developing an extensive network of dairy professionals, Matt decided the time was right to start his own nutrition business, a company where the needs of the farmer outweigh those of the feed companies.
